The production was created by a house team consisting of directress Eike Ecker and conductor Rainer Mühlbach. Belarusian baritone Nikolay Borchev stars in the title role, the other parts are sung by Lucas Singer (Loudspeaker, Death), Martin Koch (Pierrot), Dino Lüthy (Soldier), Claudia Rohrbach (Maiden) and Judith Thielsen (Drummer girl).
