X. International Composition Competition for Choirs
The composition competition Opus ignotum is divided into two parts. Every odd year is the deadline for the children’s choirs compositions and every even year is the deadline for the youth and adult choirs compositions. Terms and conditions for the year 2021-2022 can be found here.
The organizers aim to initiate the creation of new choral pieces, which would be compositionally distinctive, but at the same time interpretationally feasible, and could enrich the repertoire of non-professional choirs. The compositions are evaluated by an expert jury composed of important Czech composers and choirmasters.
